Van is a biblical scholar, with a ThD from Wycliffe College, University of Toronto. He is the Dean of Master’s Pentecostal Seminary@Tyndale University, and also an adjunct in NT at Tyndale Seminary, Toronto. He is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, where he serves as co-chair of the Theological Study Commission. He wrote a short commentary on Romans for the “Full Life Bible Commentary to the NT”, and he has published articles about pentecostal eschatology and Luke/Acts
