Who can attend Lead Forward 2024?
Lead Forward is a gathering for Credential Holders, Pastors, Lay Leaders, Volunteers and others who are apart of the BC & Yukon District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. We encourage our churches to bring their entire staff team and key volunteers with them to Lead Forward.
Are meals provided during Lead Forward?
Lunch meals are included with your registration, unless you opted out by selecting “no lunch” during your registration. Meals will be served in the Gymnasium at 12:15 on both days.
Are you able to accommodate my dietary restrictions for my meals?
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate any dietary restrictions during Lead Forward. If you are unable to partake in the meals due to dietary restrictions, you can opt-out of your lunch during registration.
Will there be a live stream of Lead Forward?
We will not be providing a live stream for Lead Forward Conference this year, however we will have a live stream for the Special Business meeting on thursday.
Who is the Opening Reception for?
The Opening Reception will be hosted at Summit Pacific College in the Gymnasium and is open to anyone who plans to attend Lead Forward and Summit Students.
If you plan to attend the reception, please indicate so on your registration.
Are refunds available if I need to cancel my registration?
If you are unable to make it to Lead Forward after completing your registration, you may request a refund until October 1st. Refunds will be issued minus any administrative fees.
Refunds will not be issued after October 1st.
Can I re-assign my registration to someone else?
If you are unable to make it to Lead Forward and want to re-assign your registration to someone else, please reach out to us.
What is happening at the Special Business Meeting?
The special business meeting is being called to vote on proposed constitution changes for the BC & Yukon District, Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. The changes include restructuring the BCYD District Office Staff team based on feedback from our Credential Holders.
Who can attend the Special Business Meeting?
Anyone may choose to attend the Special Business Meeting, but only verified Credential Holders will be able to participate in voting.
How will voting be conducted during the Business Meeting?
Voting will be conducted electronically via the Election Buddy platform, the same platform used during the 2024 AGM.
Please plan to bring a device with you in order to vote. If you do not have a device, we will have electronic voting stations available during the business meeting.
Voting information will be emailed to you prior to the start of the Business Meeting.
Do I need to register in advance in order to vote?
Yes, you must register in advance if you plan to vote. If you do not register in advance, you will not be able to vote during the business session.
What is the cost of Lead Forward?
The cost for a Lead Forward single registration is $179.
A Super Early Discount of $129 will be available from Friday June 21, 2024 – Tuesday July 2, 2024.
An Early Bird Discount of $149 will be available from Tuesday, July 2, 2024 – Monday, September 30, 2024.
What does my registration cover?
Your registration to Lead Forward includes:
- The Opening Reception with Appetizers
- 4 Main Sessions (plus the Communion Service)
- 3 Workshops
- 2 Lunches
Do I need to print anything or bring anything with me?
No. Once your registration is complete, and you’ve received a confirmation email, simply show up at Lead Forward and check in at the registration table by giving us your name. We’ll give you your welcome packet which includes your named lanyard.
I need to register my entire staff team but the form only lets me add 2 people to my party.
Because we need to collect information from each person attending, the registration form must be completed individually by each person attending. If you are attending with your spouse, you may add them to your registration and complete the form once.

Are special hotel rates available?
Yes, we’ve secured some hotel rates and will continue to work to add more over the Summer. You can view the available hotel options here.
Is there parking available at Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly?
Yes, Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly has a large parking lot available during Lead Forward Conference.
Note: while the parking lot normally is rented out during the week for paid parking, you do not need to pay for parking when you arrive.
Can the BCYD help attendees find alternative lodging options?
All attendees are responsible for finding their own lodging if you chose to stay outside of one of the offered hotels.
