Daniel joined ERDO in 2020, moving to Canada from Jordan where he served as the Regional Director for East Africa, Middle East and Central Asia for Fida International. Daniel served Fida, the Finnish Pentecostal missions organization, for 15 years in various development roles. At different points in his career with Fida, he lived in Tanzania and Cambodia, where he served the East Africa and Southeast Asia regions.

Prior to joining Fida International, Daniel worked in pastoral ministry as the youth pastor of Oulu Pentecostal Church in Finland.

Daniel brought a lifetime’s wealth of experience to his critical role at ERDO. He is a skilled and strategic administrator and a leader who expresses a strong sense of calling to the vulnerable, giving voice to those he serves. Daniel has a unique passion for serving those who are disabled and living in poverty, which he brings to ERDO’s program work.

Working with local Finnish congregations as well as national governments and local program partners, Daniel understands best practices within the relief and development context, bringing a heart of ministry to all he does.
